1997: No 7 Top Dog (All-breeds) and Top Herding Dog
~ 2000: No 8 Top Dog (All-breeds) and Top Herding Dog
~ 2000: National Corgi of the Year
~ 2000: Best in Show (All-breeds)
~ 2000: Veteran of the Year (All-breeds)
~ 2000: At Best of the Best (an invitational challenge to
all group-winning dogs), he topped the lot, then retired on
his laurels
All the wins during 2000 at 8 years old!
During
2004, looking really good for his years, we were persuaded
to bring him out for our Corgi Show, where he beat all the
youngsters to Best of Breed.
Following
this, he went to the Dome for the Veterans Challenge at World
of Dogs and Cats, where he was the oldest competitor at nearly
12 years old - and he topped the lot!
